In the spirit of things, I've decided to switch to Wordpress since I feel that LiveJournal doesn't really give me the feeling of wanting to write anything ._. It must be psychological or something, but who knows?

To those who are interested, please link me at

Many thanks =D I will still be keeping this account though, and will be reading and commenting on all of you lovely people's LJs <3

First off, a very happy belated birthday to a lot of people...

- [info]forlorn_slayer (yes very belated ._.;;)
- [info]minses
- [info]ithronluin

Hope you guys enjoyed your birthdays <3<3

I have lots of things on my mind lately that I don't even have the time to update my LJ D: (A lame excuse, I know) Assignments to be finished, tests to be studied for, research papers to be written, presentations to be fussed over... You get the drift.

On the other hand, have finally (FINALLY) gotten the chance to watch Lost. Yes, it's late, I know :D But who cares. My brother got the first season from a friend so... Yeah. I'm bringing the DVDs with me to hostel, and God forbid me from abandoning my assignments and tests D:

To Japanese users : I have a Yaplog account now =D Do be gentle with me *cute face*

Japanese blog here, if you're interested

Wish me luck for my upcoming week >o< I'll need it.

Love you all to death <3<3

(Yaplog acting weird so I can't open any pages... Thus the first entry here =w= Sumimasen ne... I'll update it tomorrow XD;)

The Truth, and Nothing But The Truth

  • Sep. 20th, 2008 at 4:03 PM

If you’re reading this, then you or someone you know is a Virgo. The sign of Virgo is the symbol of The Virgin and it falls between the dates of August 23 and September 22. If you have ever been acquainted with someone born under this sign, then you probably understand why they are named for The Virgin.

One of the first things you will note about the Virgo is his/her ability to be completely and totally knowledgeable about certain things (usually something that they are particularly good at or interested it) yet completely lacking in the simplest aspects of common sense. Often the Virgo is the one to be extremely book smart, but street dumb as they don’t tend to think in the same way as others. Virgos view the world with a child-like purity, often not realizing when others are being facetious or sarcastic.

Interestingly enough, they are very analytical and practical by nature, yet many times they tend to have tunnel vision, so their true nature may only be apparent to themselves. You might find the Virgo child keeps his/her room in a state of disarray, yet they know where each and every one of their items is kept. A creative Virgo may write stories of great length and imagination or paint works of art that illustrate limitless boundaries, but you can bet that within a Virgo’s brain, there is a specific method to their madness.

This manner of inner logic extends not only to their behavior in daily life, but in relationships as well. You might find that Virgos tend to be either withdrawn and stoical or extroverted and carefree. Their logical nature tends not to leave much room for emotional expression. This being the case, one might judge the Virgo as being aloof or cold. There is nothing farther from the truth. Though they might not express themselves emotionally, they do express themselves in many other ways. They are loyal friends and faithful lovers. They tend to give as much as they have as this is their nature. This often leaves them open for heartbreak and to be taken advantage of. But no matter how often they are hurt, the core of their heart is a bottomless pit of forgiveness.

The Virgo tends to live from their environment. They act as new souls, coming into the world blank slates, ready to be molded and shaped into the person they were meant to be. But take care, a Virgo raised in a dysfunctional home won't know the finer virtues of life. When raising the Virgo, the best thing to remember is that they learn everything that you teach them, regardless of whether you intended to teach it to them or not.

Virgos are innocent by nature. This is important to remember as they may not grasp things as quickly as others, but don't sell them short. Once they get it, they keep it.

All in all, this sensible sign can be misunderstood if you don’t know their true nature, but once you do, you can expect a friend/lover for a lifetime.

So what do you think?

I have gotten the questions =w= Thank to my lovely [info]dustyhawk!

1. There are 30 questions.
2. Next to each number, write only the name of the person who fits.
3. Answer one question with one name.
4. Don't tell the questions to anyone who isn't doing

=D Kind of free from (educational) worries right now since I'm a few steps ahead in terms of assignments and preparations of classes =w=;; LOL that's what happens when you stay at hostel with no Internet connection... Work actually gets done!

8/22 Cameron Highlands Trip

peace
On Monday (8/18), the orang utan buddies (meaning me, Vivi, Neh, [info]rukapyon, Matthias) + 1 random Sudhir started our 3day2night trip at Cameron Highlands! Here's a photo-filled update!

We went up with Matt's van and arrived around noon, where we immediately went to Roselane Bistro for our first lunch! After that, it's off to Neh's house to unload our bags and then we made our way out to a flower farm which was just a few minutes' drive from her house!

At the Mardi farm nearby Neh's school ^^

And the rest, as they say, is under the cut... )

Took the bus back down after lunch, and reached KL Central around 6pm. Had dinner there since we wanted to avoid the crowd during lunch hour.

My first Subway sandwichburger =w= I'm not impressed lols. I'm not a burger girl =D I'm sorry for calling it a burger =w=;;

It was an awesome trip <3<3<3 Part of the fun is having wonderful travelmates with you! I'm looking forward to another trip with the orang utan buddies <3<3 Love you guys!

PS:// I wanna upload more picture but Flickr is being funky right now so... I'll update again when it works =w=

Am sorry I missed the fun at [info]labyrinth's and also, will be missing the trip up to Penang with the gang to visit Rylands... Sending my love to him from here!

I hope to be healthy on Sunday, because I'll be going for a Japanese buffet lunch with the gang at uni to celebrate my birthday.

I want lots of presents *sulks and simply being a brat* I want the CLAMP Okimono Kimono book but it's not on the shelves anymore. That, and no more Rilakkuma stuff at Kinokuniya too D: I didn't have the time to go to the stationery department at Isetan...

*just ignore her, because it's the meds talking*

=w= I met [info]yinghua there, why hallo thar! =D It felt weird hearing you call me Elaine hahah! Nice to see you after such a long long time! *hugs*

After that... Off to JLSM for a post mortem meeting of the Japanese Language Festival, and was treated to pizza after the meeting.

Reached home around 9:00 PM and after taking a bath, here I am =w=

Will be going to Cameron Highlands for a 3day2night trip with the orang utan buddies.

Have a nice week everyone <3<3<3

Last weekend (26-27 July) my faculty, together with the Japanese Language Society of Malaysia, Japan Foundation Kuala Lumpur and the Japanese Embassy of Malaysia. I was one of the representatives from my uni, since I took over [info]tsubasa_en's place when she was selected to go to Japan ^^

A picture is worth a thousand words, so they say, so here are a few hundred thousand words for you guys! <3<3 Do comment ne!

(Also, please do ignore the lack of labels on a few photos... I was too lazy =w=)

The smaller banner. I designed the font and image to be used for this festival, including the booklet and the T-shirts ^^

More photos here! )

Went to The Face Shop today (finally) and got myself a new bottle of toner and a new bottle of nail polish remover =w= Expensive but >w< It was so satisfying to get a paper bag.

Impressive! The toner contains Masterwort extract, rock crystals and Alpine glacial water =D The bottle is made of glass too >w< I shall try it and see how it works! I am weak towards nice packaging XD;

Your result for The Color Code Test...

Color Code: YELLOW: The Jester

14% Red, 23% Blue, 11% White and 51% Yellow!

Here is the basics: For a more in depth analysis, I suggest you look up the Color Code, and take a more intensive test.

YELLOW MOTIVE: FUN

YELLOW NEEDS: To look good (socially), To be noticed, To be praised, Approval from the masses.

YELLOW WANTS: To hide insecurities (loosely), Happiness, Freedom, Playful adventure.

SUMMARY: Yellows value play. They consider life to be a party, and they're hosting. Yellows welcome praise. They need to be noticed. LIttle else improves a relationship with a Yellow more than praise. They need emotional connections. They often appear so nonchalant that peope think they don't care about anything. Nothing can be further from the truth. They need a great deal of attention. They need to be stroked. They enjoy touching. To them, physical contact is often the most direct, comfortable intimate connection. Yellows want to be popular. They like to be center stage. Friendships command a high priority in their lives because popularity answers one of their basic needs - the need for general approval. Yellows like action. They are easily bored, and seek adventure. They can never sit still for long, so they choose friends who, like them, refuse to allow the "boring details" get in the way of the most important thing in life - play.
